Old Oak Primary School is such a good school to work with. The staff are so lovely and accommodating. All the kids that we have worked with from Year 4 , 5 and 6 have been truly amazing. They are so intelligent and have exceeded all of our expectations.

Old Oak is a really friendly and supportive primary school. You are always welcomed with a smile and it is a nurturing environment for every child to learn and grow.

Old Oak is a lovely school! Staff are always so friendly and the students are clearly well cared for. The whole atmosphere is inclusive and happy, which always allows children to thrive.

I'm most grateful for the welcome I received over the last 2 weeks. I enjoyed the value-driven feel of Old Oak a lot and I learnt a lot.

The students were very pleasant and happy, every staff member was accommodating and encouraging. I am happy to have come to take the photos today and the whole school is an asset to the local community.

I came to give a workshop to the children in yr 1 & yr 2 about Cells, DNA and what scientist do. They all asked amazing questions. It was a beautiful experience and I think they enjoyed it.

The School is very welcoming. All staff members are very friendly and helpful. It is a pleasure to be working here and I particular enjoy the sense of community both within the school and with the interaction between the school and students families.

I often visit the school to check in on the literacy tutors, who work with designated children and I am always impressed by the warmth of the school personnel who I meet. I always feel very welcome at the school and there is a real sense of community.

It was such a pleasure to visit the school today. Seeing the engagement in Mathematics across all ability levels was very special. The pride the students show in their work is brilliant!

What a pleasure it is to work with Katie, the Deputy Head, and her super talented students. We are doing work around community organising and the importance of telling your own story as part of building people power and winning change. Looking forward to the next few months of creativity together!

Another enjoyable visit to Old Oak - a pleasure to teach their youngest about Water Safety, introduce the local canal history and help Y3 with some STEM activity. Lovely children and staff, making me a well hosted guest, thoroughly looked after. It is always an absolute pleasure to teach at Old Oak. The children are engaged, full of energy, have great ideas and their behaviour is exemplary. But more than all of this is their excellent emotional intelligence. For example, when asking the classes what we can give to other people that is not a thing, they immediately bring up kindness, love, respect, friendship, time and attention. This happened with all classes showing how well embedded the school's values are. The staff and school leaders should feel very proud of the wonderful school they have helped to create. I can't wait to come back again.

It was a real pleasure to introduce the new World War II topic to Years 5 and 6 at Old Oak Primary School. We found there to be an excellent learning atmosphere in the classroom; students were exceptionally well behaved. They were focused and stayed on task, and they demonstrated just how much they had learned by the thoughtful questions they raised at the end of the sessions. I'd like to say a big thank you to Old Oak Primary School, especially to Elizabeth Hepworth for inviting me to do a workshop. The children kept me on my toes, they had a lot of interesting questions about writing books and about illustrating them with photographs.
